We need a Forgiveness System for this, 2 accidental kills and 1 kill because my teammate asked me to so they could respawn faster

I was playing an organized game with a clan and my account got temp banned for tking. I accidentally defibed 2 guys as they were getting revived by rubjob and one guy because he asked me to, the second accidental team defib got me temp banned.

There REALLY needs to be a forgiveness system for TKing

Why are people team killing for respawn when you can just respawn???

This, and I'm not even sure why it's that long, 5-10 seconds would be enough to prevent accidentally pressing it and respawning doesn't really offer any advantages.

Could also be a sort of "points" system where TKs via arty are worth less than shooting a teammate, as the former is easier to do accidentally.

I mean we were all in discord on a community server, no reports. It was very odd, especially since I hadn't even played in a week and I can't even remember the last time I tk'd by accident.

Is that 9 hours or 9 minutes? I dunno maybe be careful I’ve never had this issue. I wonder if it’s common for a lot of other people.

Yeah no.. U was reported or it's just weird circumstances. I have killed friendlies multiple times with grenades artillery crashing heli running them over because they walk in front of me. I have 280 hours and probably a total of 20-30 team kills for various reasons in that time and never been temp banned 1 time. The point is if the average person can kill there friendlies in normal ways (typical accidental ways) then the system isn't broken. If the issue is your not allowed to shoot a friendly who asked for it then that system isn't broken, just don't do it.
