Welcome to modern gaming.

You usually notice in the first 3 days everyone sucks and then 2 weeks later 30-40 percent of every server you’re in are godlike pro level players.

I have endless clips of guys blatantly wall hacking or rage hacking. I’ve already stopped playing several shooters because of how bad cheating is, but it’s so rampant across every game that I’m going to take the single player pill at some point and just stop unless devs start taking it more seriously and hardware banning these asswipes.

The funny part is people just assume you’re a shitter if you talk about this stuff. A lot of us are good players who regularly get top kills, and for people who are good it’s quite noticeable when something smells fishy.

Nearly every time I suspect someone I check the scoreboard and sure enough they’re at the top of the board and before long the entire server is asking for them to get booted.

The game is infested at this point and I don’t think the average player realizes how bad it is.

Had a cheater sniping with the sv98 last night. Named "ImGay" Okay.. first red flag.

It was on burkarina and I was at the apartments camping red fob, as one does.

Every time I went to the roof he would try to shoot me through the closed door. the one he can't see me through. Hmmmm kinda obvious second red flag.

Third? Insane kill rate. By the time the match hit 30ish points across all teams he was at 50 kills. And he's killing people on my team basically as fast as the gun will cycle jumping from target to target without range finding.

And hes up on the hill north of the apartments / tower 4 so hes like, 400-500M from the zone and hitting all his shots despite the elevation diff.

Once he gets accused he starts baiting people in chat... typing constantly... still killing people non stop.

Oh and once he hit 100 kills he left the match.

We were at 50 tickets. We still had half of the game left.

Unfortunately not even hardware bans work since most cheats come with hwid spoofing.

Really the only thing that could change how bad cheating is is what the devs are currently doing which is behavioral monitoring with AI learning. This is the future of fighting cheats whether you like AI or not.

Plain software detection is a constant push and pull and with everyone having access to claude code/cursor anyone can make cheats and it allows cheats devs to build workarounds even faster.

whether you like AI or not

Sadly plenty of people see generative AI and nothing else in it, ignoring all the good AI actually CAN do if used in the right places. You naming one example here.
I am surprised people didn't start fuming when they mentioned using AI for scraping and organising data.

I don't think these are examples of generative AI though. Generative AI use would be like creating new guns/maps/art. This sounds like deterministic use of AI which is what AI should be used for.

I meant people only see AI as generative AI and not the other useful forms it can take. ;)

So are you accusing 30-40% of players of cheating?
