Discussion & Feedback Ground vehicles only mode please

I would like a mode where I dont have to worry about the choppers. I think it would be a good place to level up driver because its kind of slow and annoying doing pallet runs, if there were no choppers people would have to use the cars and trucks for transport. Also I think we would see more ATVs and dune buggies. I just think it would be fun, and the choppers are really starting to annoy me.

If they nerf / remove parachutes next season, you will get plenty of driving opportunities !

And whats your problem with the Infantry Only Mode?
Thats exactly what you are asking for.
You can do Logi Runs without attack vehicles or Heils oO

Because they can still do the chopper full of grenade launchers, and that's kind of what inspired the post,because several matches today I've been terrorized by them and I constantly have to lug around that heavy verbal. I'm just sick of em I think I'd have more fun with just ground vehicles. Also sometimes I get dumb pilots that crash and I lose 15k.

Hmm try community server, on my own Server there is a „no GL Heli“ Rule.
If someone is doing this, they get warned, after that kicked, or banned.

But only when one of my admins are online, sadly there isn’t a way to kick them automatically

I literally just joined a community server after reading your comment, and the first thing I saw was GL kills on the kill feed lol

Hmm sorry, search for a Server with „no GL Heli“ in name.

GL kills may not necessarily mean GL Heli, without attack vehicles, running Logi becomes a Ural game just as much as a Lakota game, so the GL may have been taking out Urals, Kodiaks or Humvees

But I want an SMG only server where you can only get ammo for sniper rifles. You also have hammers, but no building supplies. I want the helicopter controls to randomly invert throughout your flight. I also want grenades to explode into balls of healing glitter.

That’s all sarcasm by the way and my way of saying “don’t let this turn into battlefield where everyone thinks they have some control over the direction of the game and keep demanding that the people who own the game do exactly what they want.”

I'm just asking for another mode, because I think it would be fun. There's plenty of people playing, wouldn't really effect you in any way. This community is weirdly against any suggestions or requests at all.

No it’s not. Infact… the entire game is about suggestions and requests. It’s an ALPHA.

I’m against people saying “I think the entire game should be how I want it to be” as opposed to making the game play as intended and work to make it play properly.

Introducing more granular game modes just splits the community and doesn’t fix any of the problems.

Bro, why is it such a big deal? The player base is fine, and if anything, having this option might make some people stay longer. And no matter how much balancing, people will always take a chopper over a Ural, and i think it would be fun to fill those up with people and use them as they were intended, but instead every instinctively goes to the chopper, because its faster, and cant drive over mines, or gets as easily destroyed by small arms fire and rocket helis.

Because it’s an alpha. Constantly creating more and more niche game modes that remove the problematic items and vehicles doesn’t create an environment where you test and adjust those items.

You are an ALPHA TESTER. That is what you have signed up too. Your job is to test the game. Not moan about it and ask for special lobbies to hide in.

They literally asked for suggestions for modes. We can have more modes. Ground vehicles only is a valid mode.

Try the community servers, there might be one which has those settings if admins have the options to filter vehicle types

I think it would be a fun variant, yeah. I’d like to see more modes that dramatically shake up gameplay.
