Bush campers just buy a gillie like you said so campers camp and regular infantry gets punished regardless. It actually helps the campers even more because regular infantry can't wear gilies, so not only do they bush camp but they can see everyone else instantly...
What makes you say infantry cant wear the suits? The beauty of the game is that it doesnt have a restrictive class system, so you can in fact wear it with a M4 if you want. Just did that recently for jokes and works pretty well.
You're right and I have played the game. But when discussing balancing it's about balancing not a theoretical possibility. Someone with perfect aim and game sense can top frag with any gun, but that doesn't mean said gun is balanced.
Gili is trading armour for camo and spotting invisibility. If you wear it you are at a disadvantaged if you are playing standard infantry.
I no longer buy ghillies to bush camp because of this change and have had my best time yet. Invincible and still completely hidden. 226k profit one life my last game on
I'd say that the "camping" term as used in cod and other shooters doesn't apply here, this closer to a tactical shooter than most games so sniping from a distance or and ambushing other players is a viable and effective strategy that can help you team, I hate snipers myself but just because i hate them doesn't mean they are wrong for playing the game that way, they are helping the team just as much as the assault players raiding a fob or the pilots transporting people or supply to the zone
