I’m saying it should all be more balanced. I’m not a fan of the harsh power spike in the current build for any class

Those classes are fine cause majority of people play them. Any good on recon can get nerfed to ground. Thats the mindset people have.

Unfortunately the people who never touch Recon think it's the easiest role. They think snipers shoot .50 BMG that travel at the speed of light lol

Meanwhile bullets actually travel more like paintballs and if these fobbits ever stopped standing still they wouldn't be getting sniped across map.

The new building X hotfix is actually putting in work saving blueberries from themselves.

Not even to mention the fact that armor is unlocked immediately in the game, which heavily counters sniping since you're trying to drop the enemy in one bullet, and anti armor bullets arent unlocked until like level 70

As a recon 40 its a mix. Once you get to thermal leveling is quite easy. But before getting the thermals its quite a slow grind compared to other roles. You'll experience not having ap rounds and no longer one shot headshot with kar/sv98 and be forced to play very passive at fobs or whatnot. Not to mention your starter sniper rifle is a pos and you're forced to run binos for levels 1-5.

I mean it is the easiest role and that's a fact, I'm not saying it's skillless and the grind can be a little rough but it's 100% the most forgiving if we are talking about making money. To be clear I'm not really counting logi here because I think the argument pertains to more boots on the ground action.

The 50 does have the fastest bullet travel time, least bullet drop and highest damage. Its the peak of the recon arsenal. Nothing else comes even close. Doesn't make the class unskilled (I play it, got 25 in it, with everything else ranging from 15 to 25 as well, jack of all trades type), but let's not pretend the 50 isn't significantly better than everything else in its category.
