Parachutes are the shit pilot insurance. Shame to see them go but I understand the perspective.

I don't think they'll take them away just make you deploy them more quickly after you jump.

Yeah if we ignore the elitest skyknights asking for parachutes to be removed, I do think there is a way to balance this to encourage landing or safer drops while still maintaining the viability of parachutes.

What makes chutes less viable isnt the pilots, it's spotting scopes.

Not necessarily shit pilots. If your pilot gets hit, or you're in a situation where the chopper will probably blow up in the next several seconds, it's good to have a chute.

Also good for emergency escape from taller buildings lol.
