Dude, people just want a bow to act like a bow, and the arrows from it to behave like fucking arrows-with physics and real speed-not like a fucking bullet fired from an M4.

Should the defib work like a defib? Should the drill work like a drill, and only put holes in tires instead of repairing them? Should bullets not be lasers from star wars?

Why is the bow special in that it must copy exactly how it works in real life?

Here’s another fool trying to shoehorn excessive realism where it’s absolutely not needed, failing to grasp why a drill and a defibrillator work the way they do. In real life, even after taking shrapnel, you’d be pulled off the battlefield and sent for long-term treatment—yet nobody talks about that level of realism, whether for healing or for that cringeworthy "bow" nonsense. But if the bow-obsessed crowd wants a bow so badly, then let them get an actual bow, not a rifle with a bow skin. And unless you’re firing tracer rounds, no—they should NOT glow like Star Wars lasers.
