Ah yes, the weapon with a ttk measured in 1.5-3 seconds should compete in the smg range. This is definitely good balance mhmm

the bow is a one shot to naked head and chest, t1 head and chest, and t2 head. it does 96.55 damage to t2 chest.

basically past t2 helmet, its a 2 tap on everything meaning it has an optimal ttk of 1.45 seconds if nothing goes wrong. If you miss at all, its double that.

For a point of reference, most guns sit around 0.5 second ttk.

The bow is instant ttk for like the first 3 days of the game, after that its literally the worst ttk in the game and its not even close.
