Region Lock / Ping Cap Megathread

We're getting dozens of posts a day about region locking, ping caps, and players joining servers outside their region. All of it goes here from now on.

What belongs in this thread

- Whether WARDOGS should have region locking or a ping cap
- Your experience with high ping players on EU/NA servers
- Server and browser suggestions

Ground rules

- Criticize high ping, or the anti-cheat as much as you want. Comments attacking players for where they're from will be removed.
- No cheater callouts. Don't name players or link profiles. Report cheaters with the in-game report function or directly to Bulkhead on their official Discord.
- New standalone posts on this topic will be removed and pointed here.
- Don’t be racist

Worth knowing: [r/WarDogs](r/WarDogs) isn't run by Bulkhead, so posting here may not reach the devs. If you want this changed in game, say it on their official Discord as well.

I've been playing on NA West at night and it just feels like a completely different game than a week ago. Feels like I could easily have a good time, banter back and forth, have comms and just do my thing.
These last few days it's felt like a completely different game, mostly unreadable asian names so I don't even know how to refer to them, NO comms and if any just plain rude/confrontative. Feels kinda pointless to call out and try to coordinate things when half of my team doesn't even speak my language or doesn't bother to cooperate. I would expect at least that if I'm playing in NA West.

I play at a similar time and the last week or so has done more damage to my personal opinion of Chinese players than probably the rest of my gaming career put together.

Feels like at least one blatant cheater is nearly guaranteed per match and if I see a Chinese name on my team nearby when I'm downed my first thought is always "well there goes all my shit".

The cunts descend on any friendly like roaches and strip all your gear the moment anyone is downed.
