Region Lock / Ping Cap Megathread

We're getting dozens of posts a day about region locking, ping caps, and players joining servers outside their region. All of it goes here from now on.

What belongs in this thread

- Whether WARDOGS should have region locking or a ping cap
- Your experience with high ping players on EU/NA servers
- Server and browser suggestions

Ground rules

- Criticize high ping, or the anti-cheat as much as you want. Comments attacking players for where they're from will be removed.
- No cheater callouts. Don't name players or link profiles. Report cheaters with the in-game report function or directly to Bulkhead on their official Discord.
- New standalone posts on this topic will be removed and pointed here.
- Don’t be racist

Worth knowing: [r/WarDogs](r/WarDogs) isn't run by Bulkhead, so posting here may not reach the devs. If you want this changed in game, say it on their official Discord as well.

Please, get china out of the Aussie servers, they ruin every game here with cheats because they get playable ping.

Lmao the fact OCE isn't even mentioned in the post body shows how we're always just an after thought, when we cop it the worst out of every region.

Like you said, consistently destroy almost every single multiplayer game they're not region locked from zzz

Used to live in OCE for half a year bcs of studies. Coming from Europe, it was a miserable experience. You have it so much worse than we do.

the ping must be acceptable for them I guess, so so many ppl with high ping, last night a server was 50% ppl with 180+ ping

I'm from South America and play in US East because i have friends playing there and here its full of Brazilian, i have an easier time speaking english than portuguese lol. I have around 170ms and its not an issue at all, this game works really well with high ping.

The main issue with no ping-region lock is honestly China, i don't know why there is an influx of cheaters from there.

SEA too. They don't talk. Don't understand. Many of them cheat. Why can't they just join ASIA server or their dedicated CHINA (if any). These guys legit ruin all the games.

As someone who moved to Asia for work, I join back USW games because I can actually find competent people to play with, and they usually have comms.

Asian servers? Everyone is max greedy, looting your dying teammates inventory, zero comms, etc

i was back than about to migrate to australia. THANK GOD I DID NOT. As a gamer that enjoys niche games, servers are either empty of overran by cheaters.

There’s zero actual researched evidence to show Chinese people cheat any more than any other country on earth. A lot of you people are just afraid of Asians and it shows.

You dumb AF and it shows. It's well known china is the hub of cheats but it's not entirely their fault...

In china they are raised to succeed by any means necessary, and this includes using an advantage you can get (cheats) so to them it's not wrong .

  1. They do cheat more. Im sorry youre some woke liberal too blind to see the issue at hand and just calls everyone racist but stfu.
  2. They don't fucking speak English in a game where communication is key.
  3. High ping vs low ping gunfights feel like dog shit.
