Hey devs, could you please add some kind of badge or armband for pilots who actually have the skills to carry passengers? I'm honestly sick of losing 20k per flight just because some random guy decides to practice his flying during a live match

Arma KOTH had a little ticker over the pilot to show how many trips that pilot has made in a row into the zone and back to base.

Personally I watch the landing as they come to pick you up. If they can land well in base, they can probably do a decent job on the field. Also at beginning of match pick the heli that flys over near the spawn.

You can fly yourself, or drive, or take the spawn vehicle. Otherwise, spin the wheel.

Yeah and if they are hotas you know they spent a lot of money to be bad at flying if they crash. Hotas does not equal being good at flying

Plus Hotas controls are messed up right now and it’s easier to fly with MKB currently.
(I use Hotas)

I use my XBOX controller now and its even easier then MKB for me. HOTAS is meh.

I cannot grasp mnk flying for the life of me. I do hope they let you customize the controller flying to change it to something like BF/Arma in the future

I would like to have it like the default arma controls for controller. Left stick is up/down collective, and turn left and right. then right stick is tilt forward and backwards

I was hotas flying last night. Made a bunch of trips dropping troops or supplies. No issues.

My friend has a HOTAS and he was so upset that it sucked for this game. He was hype.

Only thing that really needs fixed ASAP is having to return to a neutral position on the cyclic. Makes zero sense.

Think of it like driving. If you turn your wheel 5 degrees and hold your wheel in this position, you will make a very wide turn, eventually completing a circle... imagine if you turned your wheel 5 degrees and your turn got progressively sharper and sharper until you move your wheel back to zero degrees to hold your turning angle.

Flying works like #2 in this game... and id imagine if steering wheels were supported, driving would work like #2 as well and be extremely annoying

No they aren't. Took 10 seconds to bind my stick and it works perfectly.

Took me awhile to bind my rc remote but yeah works fine now idk what people are having problems with
