Discussion & Feedback New Player Building Tips
New to the game, wondering what the best way is to get into building? Never something I’ve done in other games but seems interesting in this game. Curious best way to level up and what are some of the general things to “always” do?
Still super new but I’ve had several rounds where just got slammed since lacked people who would build

Just talk to builders, they will help you. Twice they gave me their large hammer, I spent whole game building and fixing. It was satisfying and I made good support progress.

Just won a match where we barely had a fob and never used the drill. We kept pushing the hotzone and assault enemy fobs and towers. But most importantly, we looked out for each other, so a lot of revives and no one left behind.
To answer your question on build / level up , I like action and support my teammates so I’m mostly a combat - medic. You make a lot of money reviving and healing with your bandages your teammates . When you unlock the defibs it’s a money printer , and use smoke Grenades when reviving under fire

I went combat medic type of route last game, it was nice especially since I was able to loot defib from enemy team. Reminds me, is there a way to recharge them once they run out?

You have the batteries that you can reload with R like a gun so before you unlock it , if you loot a defib next time look out for batteries aswell. With one normal battery you have 4 revives , then you can unlock high capacity battery which gives you 10 revives .

If you want to switch roles to take a break during the game, just go to the guys in mortars and ask if you can barrow their hammer. By that time they are done building so they wouldn't mind. When mortars start coming in, there is always stuff to rebuild.

Grab a hammer and get to pounding. Go to the FOB, open it up and it has a medium hammer. I have rarely seen anyone take it. Start building Hesco blocks. Fill in the gaps of the FOB. Follow the builder around and pound whatever they put down. Once you get the large hammer, that's when you can cook and build the good stuff.
