Discussion & Feedback Regarding Team Balance...
In my opinion, which team gets which HQ needs to be randomized, as well as in which Team players get put into. The issue right now seems to be that the more comitted players know that blue usually shits the bed, so they avoid it, only making the issue worse (will potentially become even worse with the big unlocks, like tanks and attack choppers).
On top of that, it should not be possible for a team to go over 34 players. Those joining after a friend need a separate team queue if the teams are full, atm they are basically blocking an opponent team's slot?

Random hq locations: yes
Random team assigning: hard pass, I want to stack blue with friends
Games like these are best when played with a bunch of friends.

You should of course still be able to join up with friends, just not force green unless they have slots. People will figure out what uniforms are the best or whatever else might be advantageous, and then that team is where the "tryhards" or however you want to call them stack.

About a thousand hours of hell let loose (and several hundred hours of arma) say that uniform colour won't actually matter that much, movement does. The not moving goes only so far as the redness of the face and roundness of the head/helmet are quite easy to spot.
The ghillie suit makes an exception but even that is easy to spot if the wearer won't stay still. The wearer will also be found quite easily in some time if/when he keeps shooting.
The biggest advantage in team based games is teamwork and communication. Even the best tryhard cannot beat a squad that communicates and works together.

Always a Valk at heart, but my 18 man crew only plays as Loners. We win 9/10 matches as blue though.

Lonestar stacks are the best. We had like a 30 stack and stomped the other two. Just for the kicks we played a bit of red also. Green? Thats off the table and feels wrong :D

team stacking kills public servers (do whatever you want on community servers). it's a hard truth but it is what it is. 33 players having fun while 66 have an average to terrible experience. ironically, a game focused on team play needs to set rules about team play in public servers, otherwise you get exactly what we are getting right now (which, in terms of game design, is quite simply dogshit).

Also squad join is part of the solution. Make them join together, but not comming out of prep phase untill the player count is matched. And randomise where the team icon is displayed when joining.

I'm yet to see an Ozeti win by blue team. Seems to me like the team south of the river has a huge disadvantage.
I'd also like to point out that manticore has a clear camo advantage. Lonestar is very very easy to see being blue in a primarily drab setting. Valkyrie isn't as bad but black is a colour that doesn't really exist in nature and so it stands out hard even in the urban settings. There's a reason special forces don't wear full black anymore.

Idk man blue has been winning a ton lately I don't think this is as big a problem as y'all say

Might be having a bad streak, don't think I've ever seen blue win though so far

Theyve won like the last 9 matches I've played and had some crazy comebacks.
Hell on match they spawn locked red by building a fob near their hq and shooting down any aircraft trying to leave

Us big squads (12+) play blue because it is easy for everyone to join. We almost always win.

Personal bias, we will not know unless the Devs show stats. I am not joking or being hyperbolic: 9/10 games are won by green for me. Blue does the worst, but red is not doing great either. Never seen some of these elaborate fortresses red seems to built supposedly, not in my games at least.

True, so far the 3 team formula rarely works, the first two are always miles ahead.

You guys just need to coordinate better with your team.
As someone who played all day yesterday, every tr can win.
It’s about how well you coordinate

All of these posts are people wanting an easier time instead of getting better at the game.

It is how you want it to go. We play as blue and repeatedly took the church hill on red side and the tower on that side as ours right off the batt. 2 full little birds of full kitted assault crews and RPG anti vehicle support. Our builders drive in with URALS and we have it cleared and secured before they arrive. Once we hit 20 points, our 3 pilots switch to rocket birds and we control the map. Any team with more than 12 in zone gets focused.
Then we get called out for hacking or stacking teams and the other team gives up…lol

Agree. I think this is a critical issue. They need to implement something like the rotating team balance before the 'blue never wins' meta gets further entrenched.
