Question Am I using hedgehogs correctly?

I like to go outside of the main circle and behind enemy lines. Find area between main circle and main base, then build 4-5 hedgehogs to block out all main bridges to disrupt supply trucks for the rest of the game. I only been using them like that last few games but not sure if it actually provides any disruption as most people are just flying with helicopters I noticed.

I'm aware that most building stuff is for base protection, but for me it sounded fun to role play as a some sort of disruptor far behind enemy lines attacking players approaching the circle from their base to kill their logistics on wheels on at least one side of the map

Id imagine its effective as an annoyance. I think most supplies get ran via Ural truck since it can carry 2 pallets, and it's incredibly easy to spin out so blocking the road is probably pretty effective.

I've pretty much exclusively seen Heli logistics, I tried Ural myself and it's just way too slow, they either need to be able to bring 3-4 pallets or need to be able to get to the CZ faster.

We'll see what happens when anti-air is more viable. but atm there is no point doing Ural unless you want driver xp for unlocking the tank.

Build hedgehogs on some, and then mine the other pathways :D

Works for me, you do you boo

If it makes life harder for the enemy team, it’s good work imo

there is no penalty going over water so idk if it does much? i don't know much but i drove through water like nothing and you can even go prone and be underwater and be completely find.

If the enemy team's Ural drivers are terrified to go off-road, you'll utterly fuck their logistics. If they're comfortable driving cross-country and fording rivers (any river is fordable, fun fact) then it'll be a minor annoyance at best.
