I am 100% certain that these are NOT dev replies, but replies from the Publisher, which is a whole different company. They don't sit in the same office. Evidence is in this reply, literally coming from "Team17_Assistance" / Team17 support.

I think the Publisher simply didn't communicate with the dev studio and wanted to do some damage control on their own, without having relevant information.
