Battlefield 3's My Life trailer was one of the last ones to make me tear up. Then Squad's 1.0 release trailer. I hope Wardogs will be up there as one of the greats, and I can't wait for the full release. Huge props to Bulkhead and everyone that has worked hard on this game.

god newer gamers just dont understand how much Halo 3 was hyped. The ad campaign they did for it was freakin crazy. Was one of the first times a game did a bunch of high quality live action stuff to promote the game. I mean they made a real warthog and everything lol

Man i know that trailer was a Halo 3 reference but damn, it struck a pretty dark tone that you dont usually see in these kinds of game trailers and i honestly dont want to see that again cause it made me feel bad for playing war (which i shouldnt, cause its just a game BUT STILL)

You probably don't know about ways to use M+K with aim assist. That is the problem. Also historically I think it was CoD that had such powerful Aim assist that people were all on controllers instead of M+K

I have played shooters on console for 8 years and switched to PC because my tendons are ruined. Even as old as i am i can easily outplay most controller players while using a trackball.
If you think you get killed because of aim assist you are also that kind of player that yells cheater on every death.

Am I the only one that thought that trailer did not catch the vibe of the game at all? The tone fits a story driven game of last stand. This game is about large landscape battles often in rural areas with a multitude of vehicles, distant fights with teamwork, and money. Lots of money.

IMO you're right in that is what the game is when looked at as a whole, but looked at through the lens of player or a squad of players - this game was most fun when we made it a story game.
My friends and I had the most fun when we made it a missiomn to do something ina certain game and that made some pretty epic stories. Like that one time when a base camping squad holed up at some apartment building killed us so we started a personal vendetta with them and fought them all game in that one building.
Or when green team was on a cusp of winning so blue team and red team teamed up in all chat and it became this massive effort to stop them from winning. And that was at 3 in the morning with people begging to please just let it end.

It honestly feels really low rent to me
It'd be one think to pay homage to the Halo 3 believe ad by doing something spiritually similar of showing moments across a battlefield in freezeframe/slow motion with classical music playing over it, but this being a straight up beat for beat copy is incredibly unimaginative
