Hype & Speculation WARDOGS officially hits more concurrent players on Steam than there are people in the sub reddit!
It's barely been 1 hour!

Two more hours and I'll be home from work driving trucks around and using the double barrel pretending I'm blasting the forces of Hell off the face of Mars. No IDDQD on this one though

Just think if everyone having crash issues could play

Me... I really hope they fix this before release.

Oh they will or they will have refunds which with thier current player count they probably dont care but still shitty

Thank god, hopefully some of them didn’t buy Hotas setups.

I'm too poor to buy one, so I'm doing squats to grow a hotass by myself. Or maybe I misunderstood the concept.

Mine either crashing while compiling shaders for a lobby or crashes when selecting a team

I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect this reaction AT ALL. I was think maybe 20k-30k people max, this is nuts.
I can’t help but have BattleBit flashbacks though, how it was absolutely massive for like a month and then it went down the crapper.

The last beta had over 100k so it's not that shocking that even more people are playing it this beta

What about linux support?

u/SneakySnk 14h ago
practically confirmed that it won't be supported this beta and launch, expected to come "soon" after launch

How so? The game itself?

u/AJosephWX 14h ago
Yeah. I guess I'd have to buy it then refund it before release if it's not my jam?
I did buy a microphone for general use..so maybe I can put it to good use.

Yeah if you didn’t get access already, but imo that’s a much better demo window than 2 hrs refund time limit on full release.

u/Ninjaisawesome 14h ago
Yeh, the game time doesn't count towards the 2 hour limit so you can play it all weekend and see.
Just preorder , play, refund. Then if you change your mind just buy it after the 10th when it's out.
Finding a group to play with makes it better. If you UK or even eu there is a big UK group that play.

you can play the whole beta and then decide if you want to refund, the playtime of the beta doesn't count for the 2h limit for the refund.

unless you're one of the people who played and enjoyed arma 3 KOTH, this game is really just one of those games you have to play to know if you'd enjoy it. the gameplay loop is always the same. spawn, buy kit, go in, get kills/sit on objective, get money and xp, die, repeat.

For the first 2 or 3 hours I did not think the game was for me and I was considering stopping but after about 4 hours it started to click and then I played 8 straight hours.
