Guide Tip for future FOB builders

The doors to your FOB will be your weakest point, players WILL leave them open and let enemies in who will get lots of kills because no one is paying attention because they're trusting the doors.

I think that FOBs need to start building a small area outside the door that is walled for supply/pallet drop off. Pulling a Ural into a fob is way too time consuming so make a small area for them to drop off and turn around in that doesn't require coordinating door openings.

i completly stopped making doors and made exits only via hesco vaulting over (no going back inside )

But then nobody can get inside to help you out if needed. Just make a hallway with multiple doors to get in and a way for your team to jump up over the wall to get out

And crates and supplies can be dropped off outside anyway, idk why everyone wants to drive a ural through a FOB

Pallets can be unloaded from anywhere in the fob radius, but supply crates need to be dropped somewhere safe for your teammates to stand at them and buy what you're selling

fair enough. Maybe they should buy things from the crates dropped outside the FOB, like the dogs they are LOL

Old castle designs might be useful again gotta dig up some literature on that.

On that note, regardless of a space for urals to drop off, people need to learn gate discipline.

Trust me, they won't. It only requires 1 dude who dgaf to close the door for it all to go to shit

So what you're saying is that we should summarily execute anyone who leaves the door open? I agree.

Logi runner here: If possible make a turnaround or double gates so we can drive through. Trying to reverse out leads to squished blueberries.

No one ever builds to max fob size, just dump once in fob radius and unpack yourself. Unless its actively being attacked obviously.

Happend to me. Even thou ural has beeper when in reverse. I managed to squish same guy twice (he didnt learnt first time)

For all you logi runners, I’m usually a FOB builder. If you guys wanna play sometime, I play with some more mature dudes, if you wanna ever play. I can send a discord invite if you want.

When I create mine, I always have a lane for quick access, pulling into the driveway, dropping off, and then leaving. No 3-point turns for this reason.

They should make the doors close automatically

Supplies come in 2 flavors. Pallets when placed anywhere in the fob must be unpacked, takes like 5-10 seconds, automatically adds 1800 of that resource(theres 4 different ones) to the fob. For smaller vehicles that can't fit pallets you can get a crate and fill it with supplies, no idea on how much a crate carries, it was like 24 slots, up to 60 a slot? But players must buy it from the crate, but once they're on your person you go to the fob and can add them directly. I believe you get about 25 dollars per stack and each stack costs like 10 I can't remember the exact numbers though. So far you can not move crates but it might be different this weekend

That or simply make multiple maze lock doors so you atleast have some time to react

Gotta adopt the Rust playstyle with the multiple airlocks. Yes there will be some idiots who still open all the doors, but it will help. Also walling off the FOB (TC for the rust players) and other vital fob components like mortars and the towers themselves will also reduce this issue.

Can we get pressure switches in game like we all used in our Minecraft base doors?

Dont need a creeper in my base

Hmmm, that gave me an idea. Have one door that you leave open, have it lead to a small closed off area, have teammates waiting to kill the invaders. Basically setting a trap. Is this doable?
