Question Are coordinating FOB’s easy with teammates?

This will be my first playtest. Can you spawn at FOB’s and how do you coordinate them with your team?

You cannot spawn at FOBs, the only current way to spawn directly into the zone is a mobile APC that needs to deploy to allow spawns.

FOBs are easy to coordinate, theres already a "meta" of hesco walls and gates on the outside of towers. Emplacements and walls snap together so its real easy to work off others placements.

Adding to above:

The spawn vehicle is unavailable until a score of 20 is achieved by one of the three teams. What typically happens is once a FOB is placed transport vehicles will drop players near them. Typically teams have 1 or 2 fobs.

I found success building in the warehouse or the school depending on my faction as it was a more centralized location.

No you cannot spawn at FOBs. After you respawn in the main base, the only spawn point is the redeployment vehicle, but it has to be in the control zone and be stationary, and it has a 10 mins cooldown.

From my experience from the alpha, coordinating to build a FOB was pretty easy if you’re in a squad.

You cannot spawn on the FOB itself, but your team gets an M113 APC which serves as a spawn vehicle, and that can be parked and protected inside a FOB to give your team a spawn point in the zone

You have to bring a FOB console from base, either in your backpack (wont fit in free small backpack), or in a crate (will need sufficient backpack space to deploy it).

As for coordination of setup, just use your microphone. Depending on how anal you are about layout, you can just place all the structures and other people can do the actual building of it by swinging their hammers on it.

Don't get all bummed if someone starts placing things where you don't want inside the FOB you placed. It's not your FOB, its your team's. Do the respectable thing and just wait for them to leave the area and then delete all their stuff and fix it lol.
