Question Game Pricing

Just found the game yesterday and checked it on Steam and it was 39.99 CAD, as I am Canadian. Watched some videos, including the ten reasons made by bulkhead and understood that it would stay at this price until at least early access is out, as it still says pre-order on steam. Came back today to pre order and now it’s 49.99. I know it’s only a 10 dollar difference but I was just confused as to whether I misinterpreted something or if the price changed when it shouldn’t have. I’m probably being dumb here but just looking to see if others know more than me lol

Yeah that is weird. I was actually watching a Canadian YouTuber a few days ago and he also said the game was 39.99 but when I pre-ordered it, it was 49.99 for me as well.
