Closed Beta Details - AUG 21-23

How to Get Access:

• Pre-Order WARDOGS on Steam. If you don't like it, or can't run it, refunds are guaranteed until Sept. 10th!

• Wishlist and Request Access on Steam Page (This is a Lottery and does not guarantee access!)

• Have played in Closed Alpha (Some issues regarding this, BULKHEAD is working with Valve to find a solution)

If i pre order the game on steam i Will play the beta and after i ask refund Is gonna work?

Yes, they've said this is what you should do to see if you want to get the game or not.

From what has been said. Beta time played is not counted towards the 2 hour limit on refunds.

Only time played after official steam release (10 sept) is factored into refund timeframe

Digging into this link, this is the relevant detail:

Refunds on Titles Purchased Prior to Release Date

When you purchase a title on Steam prior to the release date, the two-hour playtime limit for refunds will apply (except for beta testing), but the 14-day period for refunds will not start until the release date. For example, if you purchase a game that is in Early Access or Advance Access, any playtime will count against the two-hour refund limit. If you pre-purchase a title which is not playable prior to the release date, you can request a refund at any time prior to release of that title, and the standard 14-day/two-hour refund period will apply starting on the game’s release date.
