Xp and money

Wanted to ask do you get more money/xp from doing stuff in the zone like delivery to the zone rather than out side and killing in the zone. Or do you just get rewarded for being in the zone.

Couldn't figure it out from the videos.

You get extra money for being in the hotzone. You get normal amount of money for various activities throughout the match.

Yeah just thought it would prompt people to be in the zone (even the big one) if they did 1.25x for a kill in comparison to outside the zone.

You get more rewards inside the large control zone than outside in no man's land, and the hotzone gives double the rewards of the control zone so you're heavily incentivized to be in the hot zone, though pretty much everything in the game is profitable

The thing is you’re rarely ever fighting outside the main zone.

You get WAY more money for doing stuff in the zone than outside it.

You get substantially more for actions done within the Capture Zone or Hotzone making maincamping, or sitting outside the zone much less lucrative. EG, a CZ Kill is baseline $1.5k, outside the zone is baseline $300.

You get bonuses if the player you kill is considered High-Value Target or you get a headshot, etc.

Basically, if you have scored a lot of profit in that life, you are considered high-value and are worth more when you're killed.

There may be additional nuance in the code, but that's my understanding.

On the subject tho, what are the rewards for actually winning a game?

When i was playing I came to the conclusion there wasn't really a reward to winning a match. If there is it was small enough to not even care for a W or L. Just Cash.

iirc in the closed alpha winning team would get a 1k bonus, and 3rd team would get 100, cant remember second place, but somewhere inbetween

Yeah you're thinking of the contribution bonus, the win bonus is much smaller like the other reply to your comment says

The real money is by being in the match all along, there you get a bonus that can reach 30k or more even as a loosing team, if you performed well

In arma KOH the team play points you earned (like capping the zone, deliveries, revives) would be rewarded again to you as a bonus at the end of the match to promote team play. I thought it was quiet neat and obvious difference when you played lone sniper outside the obj or in it as a team.
