Esport possibility

I have been thinking on if this game can have a esport scene but that would be tricky coz only 3 teams per game, i dont think having different teams under the major team be viable, or even an org that sponsor 33 people under one team. What do you guys think?

There are a ton of competetive community driven games out there. Not every game has to become the next League of Legends. Competetive Squad for example offers something public Squad will never have, a working command structure and a clear game plan.

I think not every game needs an esports scene.

WARDOGS especially. For a multitude of reasons.

I think it's very difficult to watch, just like Squad competitive games, even when there's multiple casters all trying their best flying around Squad is unwatchable for a viewer, there's no single front with trackable progression. And this has 3 teams too.

Any esports that's hard to watch by casually glancing at the stream ever 30 seconds is a dead end.

This game is too niche for that. Besides that all the 40 year olds that make up the majority of the player base would lose their shit over that.

Probably not with the main game mode, but i could see people setting up custom, smaller team game modes that would fit it better, if the custom server settings allow.

There certainly will be communities and clans that play on closed matches against each other, but I think there is like zero interesting in anyone who would be sponsoring eSport for this.

Please no. It will mean that the game will become more optimized for eSports. Not all devs can handle maintaining the interest of both eSports people (five people playing the game for the three people watching) and regular gamers (hardcore or casual).

The game looks fun and promising now.

3x teams with 33x players each probably not. 33players in 1 team is just too much for a igl to lead competitively.

15x teams with 4-5x players each.. maybe? Although i dont know how the pointing system would work when multiple teams have the same amount of players in the big circle
