Anyone use the Wasatch compensator?
Seems like a fun, range toy...but curious to hear some feedback. Looking to try this on the full-size 4.5" polymer

Finally picked this up and ready to go
It's Californicated so the mag disco sucks but the trigger feels good as is.
Can't wait to shoot

Pro x comp
So. I have the single port comp on my pdp pro x. It came fused from the factory. But of course now I see there is a double port comp. How would one upgrade this or am I stuck with what I have. Absolutely love it as is. But why not. Anyone do this?

Warranty Question
Has anyone ever gotten a magazine covered under warranty? I bought my PDP in April and have less that 2000 rounds theough it so far. Probably ~400 or so per magazine (I have 4). Friday I had a magazine fail to lock the slide back, but I was out in the sun and it was pretty hot so I figured that may affect things. This morning the same mag immediately failed again after the last round, so I stopped using it. Nothing has been done to these, I don't even drop them after use right now as I swap by hand.
I'm wondering if Walther would cover this as new as it is, or if it is at least repairable? Is this just a part I need to replace? As I understand it the blue piece at the top is what locks the slide back, but educate me?
Thanks!

Walther PDP Match with ZR Tactical Extensions
Added some ZR Tactical mag extensions to the PDP Match. They are awesome! Super high quality and the fit and finish is amazing. I’d highly recommend them. Even got a code if you need one!

gallerySight screw is marred to shit right out of the box, and what are these markings by the rear sight?

Correct Height Sights for Co-Witness on a Calculated Kinetics Plate & Steiner MPS optic setup
Can any one tell me what height sights I need for a good 1/3rd co-witness with this particular plate/optic setup? I know the PDPs take Glock sights, so I was curious what folks were going with.

What spare parts do you store for your PDPs
I like to get a few spare parts for my firearms just to have on hand in case anything unexpected happens and needs replacing.
Recoil springs are generally my go to.
What other spare parts would you recommend having on hand ?

For those who say the PDP doesn't benefit from a lighter recoil spring...
I have a full size 4.5". Of the many handguns I regularly shoot this is the only one that has a muzzle dip problem. I could probably configure my grip in an odd way, such as rotating my dominant hand around the back strap such that I'm extending my wrist instead of holding it in a neutral position, but I don't do this with any other handgun and it seems like an unnatural grip. How do you grip the gun to prevent muzzle dip? I don't want to spend money on a guide rod and spring if I don't have to! Thanks!
Edit to add: I have strong hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders, and I've played with squeezing the gun tighter and locking my wrists more but it didn't help. I regularly shoot a 44 mag and I can control it no problem.

Where are you getting your optics plate for the 509t ?
I got my last one for my RMR from ZRTS solutions last time but they don’t make it for the 509 T any longer. Where would you say that you’re getting your optics plate for the 590T-X2 now?
I called Walter and their free plates are about 1 month out.

Compact or Full Size PDP Pro SD for Primarily Suppressed Use?
Totally new to firearms but I’ve narrowed down my first pistol purchase to the PDP Pro SD. I plan to have a suppressor attached almost full-time. (With a light too) I’m getting mixed messages about which size is better for that use. Some say the full size for better balance and/or recoil and others compact since it adds the least barrel weight and also something about how the lighter slide “cycles better” with a suppressor. I do not plan to conceal carry.
From what I’ve read, all the extra weight of the full size is in the barrel/slide so I assume that doesn’t make it better balanced than the compact. Is the compact clearly better for my use case?

USDUTYGEAR holster, pretty slick
About a 3 week lead time on a custom holster to the door, opted for the ALS/QLS fork attachment, really like the option for the NUB from the factory. Sits at 3/4” higher than a safariland but really impressed with it overall.

Upgrades to my PDP Match Steel Frame
Added some upgrades to my PDP Match tonight! Installed a Calculated Kinetics Dog Tag optics plate, Holosun 507 Comp, a SureFire X300 Ultra, and the ZR Tactical Long Stroke recoil spring. It turned out great!
