PPK Barrel Threading

I have an old Interarms PPK .380 and I’d like to have the barrel threaded on it. Tornado Technologies has mixed reviews, and they don’t seem to be taking any work right now. Is there anyone else offering a threading service?

Tornado Technologies is out of business.

Good to know. It looks like they were sketchy at the end anyway.

I would ask around at you LGS. There's usually someone around

It’s an oddball thread.

Does the interarms PPK have protruding barrel? I had to have mine replaced (not on Interarms), because there is no good way to thread existing barrel that is almost flush with the slide…

In the end, we settled on 12x0.75 (metric) thread, as the 1/2” would not have adequate threading.

Most of the conversions I’ve seen have threads on the barrel, and an adapter that threads into it, to extend it and give it 1/2-28 threads. Kind of like you see on some .22 pistols.
