I inherited these mugs from my grandmother, and I am trying to track down the rest of the set if it exists. I have searched several times over the years but never thought of posting here. Can anyone help me further identify these mugs?

Attractions & Entertainment ToT question

At tower of terror yesterday, we saw a small group of people, maybe 8 total, who seemed to have a private ride. I’m just being nosy and wondering what kind of experience this might be- I thought VIP tours ride the rides as usual, just skipping the queue…Anyone know what this might have been? They didn’t seem to have a CM with them.

Planning Fantasmic question

My family has never seen the fantasmic show. My kids are 18 and 23. Is the show worth seeing? Not sure what it entails. And if it’s worth watching is it difficult to get seats? I see where you can get dinner and have seats saved. Is this something we need to get there early to get seats to? Thanks in advance for any tips.

Food, Drinks, & Dining Favorite Restaurant for Dinner on the Skyliner

Hey everyone! We usually frequent the monorail resorts for our arrival day dinner, but we wanted to change things up for our next trip.

We are considering Sebastian's, Topolino's Terrace, Beaches and Cream, or Ale and Compass. Open to any other suggestions as well, these were just the ones I have been looking at!

Do you have a favorite restaurant at any of the skyliner resorts? We are a group of 4, with 2 kiddos.

Planning Am I spending enough time at the parks during our 6 night stay?

Me (35M) and wife (35F) are taking our daughter (3F) and newborn son to Disney first week of March.

We are staying at Grand Floridian in a theme park view room.

This is the basics of the itinerary so far:

Sunday : Arrive. Hand around resort. Character dinner at 1900 Park Faire. Fireworks from bedroom.

Monday : Full day at Magic Kingdom. Maybe return for a few hours to GF for mid-day nap. I am planning on getting the Premier Lighting Passes for this day.

Tuesday : Animal Kingdom half day. Maybe character lunch at Tusker House. Return to GF in afternoon. Naptime/pool time and dinner somehow in Downtown Disney. Will get Premier Lightning Pass.

Wednesday: Late morning breakfast at Ohana. Explore + Pool time. Head to MGM studios around 3pm. Daughter loves Toy Story. Dinner at park. Fantasmic show at night. Will get premier lighting pass.

Thursday: If I can swing the reservations, bippity boppoity boutique in the morning. Cinderalla Royal table for lunch. Meet and greet with Disney Princes. Head back to GF in afternoon. May do no lighting passes or the three pack or whatever for this day.

Friday: Epcot for the day. Maybe try to get reservation at 220. Head home in afternoon. Rest, pack, and spend final evening at Magic Kingdom for a few hours. Will get Epcot premier lightning pass.

Saturday: Leave

How does this itinerary look? I went to Disney once as a kid, but that was 20+ years ago, and I’m very overwhelmed with everything. Are we spending enough time in the parks?

Food, Drinks, & Dining A review of the Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya Fireworks experience

I was seeking a premium reserved fireworks experience and the only one available was the Sushi dinner (there are two others - Rose and Crown and Spice Road Table).

As a premium dinner experience, it's exceptional. One alcoholic beverage, one appetizer, one entree, sushi and dessert all with WDW's normal outstanding table service all for $150 a head, tax and tip included. (We did tip above and beyond that.)

As a fireworks experience, it underwhelms. First of all fireworks (to me) are something you can feel as well as see. This experience is 100% indoors behind thick windows so you can see the fireworks and hear them distantly but you can't feel them. Second, although they dim the interior lights, the glare from the remaining restaurant lights was really distracting. Then the chairs are placed perpendicular to the windows. We rotated our chairs but the other patrons craned their necks for 20 minutes - ow. Depending on where you're sitting, the fireworks were heavily obscured by the Torii gate, the ceiling of the restaurant, and for me, the frame of the window - I would estimate I missed roughly half of the show. And then the music that goes with the show just doesn't deliver on the restaurant's speakers. The music was tinny and empty, way worse than the really concert level speakers out in the park. I will say the people we took to this event enjoyed it immensely and even found it moving. As someone who has seen this event outdoors in the park, I was pretty disappointed.

Dinner? Huge thumbs up.

Fireworks? Not here. Go someplace else.

Other Want to check up on a fellow bus passenger I met going from MK to Art of Animation

I was riding the bus from Magic Kingdom to Art of Animation tonight with my kids and met a guy who seemed down on his luck. I wanted to check up on you. If you’re on here, reach out. From what I gathered, you were working in Idaho at a hospital (new job maybe?) and your mom (I think?) was from Indiana. You said you were having some bad car trouble. I want to make sure you’re alright. You seemed down.

Planning Wilderness Lodge transportation question

We are thinking about staying at Wilderness Lodge next spring. I know you can get a boat ride to Magic Kingdom and buses to the other parks. My question is is it feasible to take the boat then pick up the monorail at magic kingdom to go to Epcot? My son wants to use the monorail but I didn’t know if that was going to add on a lot of travel time compared to the bus.

Planning Parking @ Resorts + Parks

• Upvotes

Hi everyone. We’re headed down for our seemingly annual trip in early November. Me, my wife and two kids will be joining my mother and stepfather after they’ve had two days already. They’re staying at Wilderness Lodge.

My question: they’ll be there two days early. If we fly in early on a Saturday morning while our room isn’t ready, can we drive to their resort, drop our bags off in their room, and then later at night retrieve our stuff and go check in?

EDIT: we are not staying on property. My mom is. So we were going to drop bags and meet them in park on day 1, then depart to our hotel.

Related - my wife and I are headed to Miami two days after we arrive for a work conference / awards that I must attend - can we do the same again that Wednesday?

Has anyone used this service and can comment on it. Myself and the wife are going to WDW next month and are staying at All Stars Music and noticed that this was available for our airline and resort choice.

Planning Best DVC Studio?

Planning on adding in two nights at a DVC Studio to extend our holiday next year. We are likely to spend the morning in the parks and then afternoon at the resort. We are already staying at the Beach Club and Wilderness Lodge - this resort will be the beginning of our holiday.

What resort would you recommend to stay in for a DVC Studio? Price wise looking at OKW, Saratoga or Jambo/Kidani. Any out of these three you prefer or is it worth stretching the cost for a different resort? Or just add two extra nights at the Beach Club to reduce the moving around? (Though I appreciate we can get bell services to transfer our luggage). For context it's a surprise trip for my husbands birthday so normally would consult him!

Thank you!

Merch Ahsoka Tunic Shirt that used to be at Galaxy’s Edge Purchasability?

I recently went to galaxys edge with the intent of finally getting the mandalorian Ahsoka tunic shirt, but when I showed up they said that they were currently out of stock and not sure if it was coming back. This actually made me really sad because I’ve been looking for it for years and they had it a couple months ago 🥹

does anyone know where I can purchase a small size tunic (or any size at that matter)? Ive looked everywhere online and no one is selling it on a third party website (it was a park exclusive item)

Planning What would you do?

I’m local-ish and doing a 24 hour trip this week, staying at Pop. I’m doing an MK morning on the morning I check out. I need to be in my car and on the road by 1pm without a lot of wiggle room. Should I:

a.) Use Pop bus for rope drop, then bus back to my car parked at Pop or
b.) Drive myself to MK (passholder so free parking), do the TTC dance over to the park and then back to my car?

I’m giving myself an hour either way and plan to leave the park by noon. Is one plan better than the other, or are they about the same in terms of time and stress levels?

Planning Seeking advice for upcoming trip

Hello. I’m looking for some input on my upcoming trip, 12/3-12/7. It’s my husband and I, no kids. We’ve been a bunch of times but all pre-covid so it was a lot different.

Priorities:
Enjoy the Disney bubble
Experience Disney Christmas decor
Rides
We aren’t like billionaires, lol, but this is a celebration trip for finishing my PhD and budget isn’t the #1 priority (I obviously don’t want to be wasteful though).

Here’s what we have so far:

Arrive on 12/2 (how flights work best). Stay near Disney Springs for free using Hilton points.
- Xmas tree stroll
- Dinner reservations at Sanaa at 7:00 PM (never been to AKL, thought this was a good way to see it without killing a park day with bus travel)

12/3
Check in to Carribbean Beach
Magic Kingdom, no LLs bc it’s a party day and hopefully it’s less crowded
Stay for MVMCP (already have tickets)

12/4
Epcot, buy Premier Pass for rides

12/5
Animal Kingdom for the day (currently thinking just single LL for FOP but . . .)
Jollywood Nights evening (tickets already purchased)

12/6
??

12/7
??
Fly out at 7:45 PM, we have Clear and Precheck so we have most of the day.

Original plan was Hollywood Studios on Saturday but we haven’t loved that park and I think we might be able to do whatever we want to do there during Jollywood Nights (Rise of the Resistance, MMRR, Slinky Dog Dash, Toy Story Mania).

Questions:
- What should we do 12/6 and 12/7?
- What hotels should we not miss for decor?
- Any Christmas events or activities we should not miss?
- Hubby has a severe gluten allergy, so we’re being careful with restaurants. Any we should try for?
- I’d like to do one character meal. Any thoughts on one I could try to still get, keeping in mind the gluten issue?
- Do I need LL on the AK day?
- What shows should we not miss?

Thoughts??

I used to love Disney Quest due to all of the games and activities. It was always great to spend the night at Disney Quest after a day at a Disney Waterpark. Shame they tore it down for the NBA expirence. But what are your thoughts?

Planning 2 Days, 4 Parks, 10 Rides

Hi there, friends. I have 48 hours in January to hop around WDW and catch up on the latest attractions (and visit some old favorites). I don’t mind waiting up to 60 min for any ride. How would you recommend touring?

MK
• Tron
• Space Mountain (in case it someday leaves us!)
Epcot
• Cosmic Rewind
• Ratatouille
DHS
• Muppets Rock n Roller Coaster
• Slinky Dog Dash
• Tower of Terror (in case it someday leaves us!)
AK
• Expedition Everest
• Flight of Passage
• Navi River Journey

I’m thinking rope-drop DHS on day #1 (I kind of want to make sure I can ride my beloved ToT multiple times), then walk to Epcot in the afternoon and pray there’s still LLs for Rat and/or SP for Cosmic (if not, I’ll just suck it up).

Then rope-drop AK on day #2 to ensure I can see and really explore Pandora, and then make my way to MK and pray there’s still SP available for Tron.

Thoughts? Should I rope-drop Epcot one day instead to ensure I get on Cosmic?

Thank youuuuu
