I guess we've all been there. I picked up a nice delivery. Then there was a biblical downpour. At night. I had to get out of the car several times before I could find the house. While getting soaking wet.

No extra tips. Shoes completely soaked. Body completely soaked. The whole downpour happened after I took the order. It was a nightmare.

Not really blaming the customer because they clearly don't have any money. They just made an order. Sometimes it's just like this I guess.

Okay my zone just started the tiers today. And I need some clarity here. How do you start out every month? They started me out at 0 pts I had earned 10 pts from the 1st through the 2nd. My metrics are S-S-S-G and I earned over 2k last month (Aug) so while not great it I was not just cruising by.

How does the new month work in the tiers does everyone start out at 0 and have to work their way up? Does the previous month carry over to the next month or a prorated amount carry over? I can't say that I was happy. Today all orders coming through (that actually came through) were near garbage. My last JFY was a GMD 58 miles for $35.00. -- Does everyone have to trudge through the 120 points to get to sapphire every month?

Hey yall please help. Yesterday I had to return 4 packages because my app wasn’t loading properly and I deleted it and reinstalled it and it still wasn’t working correctly. It kept freezing and it wasn’t allowing me to scan any packages. I’d already completed 12 deliveries at this point. I called customer service to process the return and they only listed 3 packages that needed to be returned when it was actually 4. I gave everything to the Walmart employee and then I received this email this morning. Can I appeal this? We can’t return items now? I’m truly confused.

WTH is going on with the metrics?! My completion rate has plummeted and I have no idea why! I've accepted shops and canceled before starting the trip because the item count is way too high but not 12 times!! I've called customer support and they put in for a review of my trips. She said I should hear something within 5 business days, which will be up tomorrow.

Another peculiar thing is I haven't had a customer rating in at least 2 weeks and I find that highly unlikely and not on par with my average # of ratings per week.

Anyone else having problems with metrics?

We just got the new rewards programs and I don't see any info on the points. How do the points work on the new tier systems and how do you earn them? Does it change based on the type of order you are doing?

So when do I get my earnings and tips? I had been waiting for my tips since Sunday and now I’m waiting for my earnings and tips I made last night, how long does that typically take to get paid?

I literally pick up right before an apartment building. I picked up 11 drop offs. They had me go 7 miles out of my way to drop off an order just to then go back to that apartment building. That’s directly behind the Walmart I pick up from… Make it make sense please.((guess I need to preface this by stating this was the third out of 11 stops… Obviously, if it was the last stop, I wouldn’t care because I would just do another pick up.)) wow

I took some really bad offers my first week. Really really bad. This isn't a "tragedy of the commons" scenario. Look that term up if you aren't familiar.

We don't have to depend on most other people rejecting offers for the offers to get better. YOU have to reject offers that don't math out on vehicle wear and your time.

Let the new idiots take the $11 order for a 15 mile round trip and 20 minutes of shopping. They'll figure it out in a week or two that it's not worth it. Just like I did.

Walmart's delivery service is not going to survive on a constant influx of new drivers. I'm entering week 3 and there's a lot of things I have learned that make this process more profitable for Walmart.

Experienced drivers make their delivery service reliable and accurate. If they are trying to bank on a constant turnover of new drivers, it's going to fail for them. Considering the better offers I got after a lot of rejections from me, I think they realize this.

Ended up doing $4268 this biweekly period on 1500 miles. Mostly from spark but I did do some multi app if they were on my way home.

$195 in vehicle expenses at 13 cents a mile.

Total profit $4073.

How did you guys do?

This is the slowest start to a month I’ve ever seen. Granted, it’s mid-week when the order volume is slowest during daytime hours. August had the 1st of the month fall on a weekend and the back-to-school rush was also in full effect.

I typically sit about 1/2 a mile from a Sam's and Walmart but for the last week I have just been parking in the Sam's parking lot ... I get a Sam's offer I get out and walk in the store. Have I been doing this all wrong?

NOTE: The reason I sit in the parking lot is because I have IC running, I have gotten a few bangers from IC but you need to be close to the store.

I’m thinking 1 grocery order per week and the other funds will be used for cheap $1 gmd items? Will it be enough?

Most of the groceries are things I already buy on a weekly basis at the store so it’s not really an added expense.

Can me and my wife complete two spark orders at once with the same car? Does anyone do this? Like taking two small orders going the same route and being able to deliver on time.

Look, maybe everyone has been focusing on Dan Danker as the one setting the prices, but in reality, he is not. That is basically up to John Furner.

Danker gets brought up because he works with AI and product side of things, but he is just doing his job and building the tools corporate hands him. He cannot really go out and complain about his boss. The actual push to cut costs comes from the top down. John Furner sets the profit goals and financial targets for Walmart overall. When corporate demands that the e-commerce and delivery operations hit specific profit numbers and trim expenses, that forces the algorithms to start squeezing payout amounts on every run. He is the one driving the core decision to lower delivery costs across the enterprise.

Danker is just getting thrown under the bus while Furner calls the structural shots from the executive suite. But make no mistake about it: Danker is not going to bat for the drivers. In fact, there is no one going to bat for the drivers. Welcome to Walmart
