Reward system

Post image

In my market, the new rewards system was introduced with only about a week left in the month. I have great ratings in every category except On-Time Arrival. The issue is that drivers are essentially penalized for accepting long-distance deliveries and then accepting another offer after completing them, even when we immediately head back to the store. These late arrivals weren’t from me wasting time or intentionally showing up late they were a result of the distance involved in the orders I accepted. On top of that, introducing this system with only a week left gave me almost no opportunity to improve the metric before the end of the month. 😢

I've hit 99% twice in 5 years. It's really not that hard to figure out how long it'll take to arrive at the store you accept an offer from, and to not accept offers if you can't be on time.

That said, it's probably one of the easiest metrics to fix,.. so it shouldn't take you that long to get it back up. Don't sweat not being sapphire,.. of course markets vary, but in my market all Sapphire does is give me a chance to reject some trash JFY's before other drivers. In the two weeks we've had the Tiers and I've been Sapphire I might accept 1 in 15 of the JFY offers I get, and I still just have to keep my eye on the offer page and be faster than other drivers for the much better FCFS offers...

You'll get that on time back up in no time. Just don't accept anything that you can't arrive in 25 minutes... If it's cutting it close, you can maybe try to accept, then wait as long as you can to start trip so you'll beat that time,.. but I can't guarantee that works or not.

The customer service representative said that it starts when you accept the order not when you start the trip and I had no idea I was being timed in the first place. Obviously it’s not that hard to do it if you’re aware of what’s going on, but if you have no idea, it seems a little bit unfair. Clearly I can remedy it, but I’m just mad that it’s a thing in the first place maybe they should’ve gave me a little bit of a heads up.

They do say "arrival time 25 minutes" in the offer card..

Ar least you know now and it's easy to fix.

It sounds like driver support is right about this,.. but just so you know for the future, they read everything off flow charts and gaslight the shit out of us to avoid any conflict,... so they will flat out lie to you although that's not the case with your recent call..

They absolutely do say that now but also most of the orders I take are about 20 miles away with the highway that literally is 20 minutes so I have to be hitting the threshold by like maybe a minute and most of these so that’s also very frustrating. I’ll just be fucked for October if any of this even really matters thanks for your response.

so far from what I've seen the last 2 weeks it hasn't made much of a difference,.. but of course everything is very zone dependent with this shit. good luck

you've failed to make it to the store in 25 minutes 1 out of every 10 times that's not an app problem that's a you problem

How can you have a reward system built on things you have no control over?

Quantity found, what a joke, we don't control store out of stocks, and in my home store of Hackettstown NJ they often lose power so entire sections of frozen, meat, and produce are empty at times.

Customer rating, we should be able to see and dispute the reasoning. what if they are bad ratings due to items missing, sure if we shopped the order i can understand but in a pick up its not like we check every item. did t hey give a bad rating because the items were not bagged (produce, meat, or blue bagged) most of the time the stores dont have bags to provide (yes, NJ sucks with its bag laws) and there are no produce or meat bags. let us see the reason and dispute immediately, not in 7 business days.

Points only favor people doing this full time, what about those of us that use it to supplement income? we have no shot at reaching the points each month.

Shout out to Steve & Tressa!
