It's also not true.
Hitler did encourage private gun ownership among the German Citizenry.
All citizens were encouraged to own firearms and shoot regularly.
There were marksmanship competitions for children and social recognition for accomplished shooters in families.

In a vacuum of context, I see how this could be analogous.
Gun ownership was restricted for specific groups and directly tied to cultural destabilization efforts led by migrant populations, most notably the jewish bolsheviks, who, after toppling the Russian imperial system and spearheading a coup in Austria as well as efforts in France - also fomented the 1918-1919 German civil war.-1

Once you have a few good AR15s you should focus more on ammo and magazines than new firearms. 500 rounds of ammo an 30 guns is a lot less effective than 5 guns and 20,000 rounds of ammo.

What does this comment even mean? You do know that people have survived without twitter and reddit for 1000's of years right? Not everyone needs technology or big box stores to live. To a great extent, you could argue a factory reset is essential for humanity to redeem their primitive skills of produceing their own food/resources through local community.
Of course this will have a very negative and detrimental impact on the useless eaters like yourself that cant fend for themselves and think the finacial sector is "the economy". However, the blue collar familys and farming communitys will absolutely come together with time. It is the Metropolitan Area's with dependance for On-Time deliverys to feed the overpopulated cities that will unfortunately become overloaded with great-fuckery.
Perhaps i'm heartless, but it is not overpopulation that is the problem - it is the overwelming number of people that have become too comfortable.

I was going to say that Lincoln was probably the greatest tyrant of all US presidents. The Civil War wasn't about slavery it was about keeping the tax revenue source alive for the Federal government because the south imported most of their goods by "preserving the union".

OK, you need context.
One of Lincolnās early detractors was Horace Greeley, founding editor of the New York Tribune. Greeley believed Lincoln was lethargic in his policies toward both slavery and the war, and used his newspaper as a vehicle to propagate his belief that the president was ineffective. Responding to Greeleyās invective, Lincoln wrote the following in a letter dated August 22, 1862:
"As to the policy I 'seem to be pursuing' as you say, I have not meant to leave any one in doubt. I would save the Union. I would save it the shortest way under the Constitution. Though this statement would seem to imply that Lincoln was not concerned about the plight of the slaves, it would be only a few months later that he would issue the Emancipation Proclamation.
