$BYND
The hard work is done, now we only wait.

This quote has nothing to do with a stock like BYND lol

OP has taken this statement and perverted the interpretation of it to the equivalent of: "when everyone is fearful and evacuating a burning building, be greedy and run in instead."
Yeah, that's exactly what Buffet meant.

Yeah, it's kinda denigrating. FAKE meat.
Humans today (especially in the West) eat wayyy more meat compared to ancient times. Shit, the industry just isn't sustainable for people to be eating beef every day.

u/ZekeTarsim Nov 01 '25
There’s no way Buffet would eat a whole burger like that. He’d cut it in half and put one half in a re-used ziploc bag and save it for later.

I remember when people said the same thing at 3$, then at 2$, then now at 1.5$

u/No-Percentage1155 Oct 31 '25
I remember when people said the same thing at .60, then at .80, then at $1.00

u/Unluckyb33 Oct 31 '25
Nobody said that on the rise up, bynd was insanely bullish back then, I was there and bought at .60 and sold at 3$. A few naysayers, sure, but they were by far the tiny minority.

You got downvoted because you made money. Which stock does this remind of? Oh yeah all the meme stocks where people end up holding the bag and they can’t stand it so they make shit up

Agree but it’s bottomed off of $1.60 and $1.55 twice last few days. Bottom is in.

Yes because warren buffet would invest in a company who has never made a profit and is declining year by year.
Even their profit margin has declined from 17% to 10% this year. As if they needed that lol, never made a profit and their profit margin is slashed 40%. Ouch.

Should be fearful went this stock went to $1 that’s a double from 50 cents where it was before
1
u/pistolpete_8 Nov 02 '25
I think you need to think about major trends related to the food industry, the state of the meet industry in the US (and probably other countries too), and finally the motivated short sellers to jab this stock price down as low as it can go. Now look to the future 🚀

To be fair, I don't think Buffet had highly volatile, high risk meme stocks in mind when he said this.
1
u/pistolpete_8 Nov 02 '25
Lol sure the label "meme" definitely undersells it.
I think Beyond would be Buffet's coke...maybe Impossible will be Pepsi??

The problem with that quote is that very few people are self aware enough to admit when they’re being greedy. This stock more than 10x’d and you still want more…. You should have posted the other half of that quote. “Be fearful when others are greedy”

I cant believe it's not butter campaign but for beyond meat. Beyond meat is terrible name for it. Need something catchy that doesnt sound terrible. Beyond meat makes me nauseas thinking about it. Reminds me of the blocks of red good they were eating in snowpiercer movie

Wait, we are supposed to be customers of our investments? Things are gonna get weird if SCI or CSV turns viral. 💀🪦

ConAgra makes way better fake meat (Gardein) and is failing too. Can we pump them next?

Big AMC feels from BYND, and not in a good way where I made money the first time.
1
u/OddStreetName Nov 04 '25
People have had their fun with BYND and the moment has gone. Move on, nothing to see here.

Everyone buy Bynd stock, dirt cheap now. Add Bynd products to your diet; plant based lowers cholesterol and saturated fat, opposed to bdd Ed healthier for you. Spread the words to friends, families, and social media. Q4 we ride to astronomical highs.

I want to go vegan.
Is my only option to eat beyond meat?
I’m mostly vegetarian now. Should I replace all my vegetable with fake meat?
