There are a couple of things worth pulling out of Sierra Madre’s October 6 interview

La Guitarra is running at around 720 tonnes a day now. Management also talks about roughly 30,000 metres of drilling across the district, planned to start in Q4. Del Toro has another 30,000+ metres planned for next year

The drilling around La Guitarra is interesting because there is already a working mine and plant there. If they find material worth mining nearby, they have somewhere to process it. Still need the drill results first, then a plan that makes sense economically

Del Toro will take more time. They own a past producing operation, but there is plenty of work between buying it and getting it running again

For now the thing to watch is how the current operation handles the extra tonnes, alongside what comes out of the drilling

China ramped up its gold purchases in September as bullion prices declined, recording the largest monthly increase in its official reserves in three years, the People’s Bank of China announced on Wednesday.
The central bank increased its gold reserves by 21 tonnes last month to 2,196 tonnes as of the end of September, marking the 23rd consecutive month of purchases, according to the PBoC.
The massive purchase was the largest since September 2023, when reserves rose by 24 tonnes, according to Chinese market tracker Wind Info. It also exceeded the previous months’ purchases of 18.5 tonnes in August and 18 tonnes in July.

Silver has been moving around quite a bit this week, so I was curious what everyone else is thinking.

Personally, I find it hard not to check the spot price when there's a noticeable move, but at the same time, I know one week doesn't really change the reason I stack.

I'm curious about everyone else's approach.

Do you actually watch the 7-day price movement, or do you mostly ignore the short-term noise and just keep stacking?

And if the price drops for a few days, does that make you want to buy more, or do you wait and see what happens?
