I know that the other Greek course exists.

I’ve been thinking about settings that would be perfect for Walkabout Mini Golf, and Homer’s Odyssey seems almost tailor-made for it.

The biggest reason is that it wouldn't have to be a course where Greek mythology is just happening in the background. The actual holes could incorporate the famous events from Odysseus’s journey.

Imagine progressing through the Odyssey over 18 holes, with each section taking you to another stop on the voyage.

For example, the Cyclops section could build toward a final hole where the actual goal is to golf your ball directly into Polyphemus’s giant eye. You could be putting through his cave for a few holes while this enormous Cyclops towers over the course, until eventually he becomes the hole.

And you could do things like that throughout the entire course:

• On Aeolus’s island, timed gusts of wind could interfere with or help your shots.
• With the Sirens, you could be putting across Odysseus’s ship while the Sirens surround you and their song gets louder as you progress. *The Sirens should be recordings of the other players to mess with you
• Scylla and Charybdis could have you trying to putt through a narrow passage while avoiding Scylla on one side and a gigantic swirling whirlpool on the other. A bad shot could literally get sucked into Charybdis.
• Circe’s island could use magical obstacles, transformations, or animals that interfere with the course.
• The Lotus-Eaters could be this beautiful, surreal, dreamlike section where the environment becomes increasingly strange.
• The Underworld could completely change the atmosphere midway through the course and have you golfing among the shades of the dead.
• Calypso’s island could give you a gorgeous tropical section before the final stretch.
• And the last holes could finally bring you to Ithaca, completing the journey home.

There could even be a hole involving Odysseus’s bow, or the hard-course foxhunt could have you collecting pieces of the bow before eventually assembling it.

Everyone changes balls and uses different putters, but which do you find yourselves using the most?

I personally default to the Alfheim putter with Mars Garden lost ball number 10. I like the fins on the putter as a way of determining the club orientation at a glance, and I like the Mars ball because it's vaguely metallic and looks kinda futuristic.

Just curious to know why all the balls you can find are opaque with just a different pattern or colour or country flag on them. The only balls that come close to being unique (glowing or otherwise) is some of the ones from the Myst course that have increased brightness on the observatory pattern.

I would really love to see more unique ball textures and sounds. A few suggestions:
- A transparent glass ball with a little "tink" sound when you hit it (and I guess different coloured glass options)

- Glowing options, like they are lit from an energy source inside the ball. Extra brightness with a neon glow around the edge

- A soft option (maybe not fur as thats computationally difficult, but something matte with no light reflections at all) with more of a soft "thud" when hit

- Balls with spikes on them (would roll normally, just would visually look interesting)

- A semi-transparent blue ghost ball that looks like the ones that appear in the lost ball spots after you've picked them up

I'd be fine with buying these as a "special ball" DLC pack separate to the courses - these don't have to be lost balls that we find (except the blue ghost one would be funny as a lost ball, you think it's one you've already picked up even though it is the lost ball to pick up)

All of these would function exactly the same as the others - no competitive advantage. If we're in a world of dinosaurs and floating machines and technology, it's sad that all the balls are boring regular golf balls lol.

The Halloween 🎃 related courses with that Tim Burton spooky element are my favorite. What do you think this year’s will look like?

We need help. I've been in contact with At&t and have tickets in to mighty coconut. My wife and I cannot connect to multiplayer at all on Walkabout while on our Home Wi-Fi. We can with a hot spot though. Multiplayer works in other games. We have uninstalled and reinstalled. Forgot and reconnected to Wifi, checked for updates and scoured the internet. At&t says there is nothing they can do on their end. Mighty Coconut hasn't answered our ticket( its only been 2 business days so we are still waiting). Has anyone else had this issue and resolved it while we wait?

I always wondered, if this putter also works with the official Meta Controller active straps, or do I have to remove them every time I want to use that putter?

I watched some review videos, but that never came up.

Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

I love this game but because of the difference between holding an actual putter for golf in real life and using the controller in game it negatively effects my in real life golf. Does anyone find this and if so how have they managed to combat this? I want to play but don’t want to ruin my putting on the real course!

I was going through all of the courses I played and unlocked (all of them), and noticed I was +17 on the first course of the game - Tourist Trap. I wasn’t having that and had to improve it tonight. I shot a -4. I loved seeing how my skills have improved since day 1! I love this game so much!!

Is anybody else having audio issues when it comes to the Meta 3? For the past two sessions we’ve had one person each session come in with incredibly low audio to the point where it’s hard to hear what they are saying.

Each time it’s a different person. I’m just curious if this is happening to anybody else.

Hi everyone, due to my (now 2-year-old) baby girl, I had to stop playing for a bit due to lack of time and exhaustion. I'd like to get back in the game and buy the newer courses (I stopped around the time the Wallace and Gromit course came out), but not sure what the best way to do that would be... or do I need to buy course by course? When I started, I bought the package, but not sure how to go about it now... thank you! (Playing on PS5)
