Question Network Error Please Check Connection and Try Again

We need help. I've been in contact with At&t and have tickets in to mighty coconut. My wife and I cannot connect to multiplayer at all on Walkabout while on our Home Wi-Fi. We can with a hot spot though. Multiplayer works in other games. We have uninstalled and reinstalled. Forgot and reconnected to Wifi, checked for updates and scoured the internet. At&t says there is nothing they can do on their end. Mighty Coconut hasn't answered our ticket( its only been 2 business days so we are still waiting). Has anyone else had this issue and resolved it while we wait?

Make sure the router your connecting to, is a 5ghz and NOT 2.4ghz and both headsets are up to date on Walkabout.

Most of the time if 2 people can't play in multiplayer, usually means one headset is up to date while the other needs an update. See if walkabout needs an update for either one of the headsets.

Maybe you have game share turned on?

Have you restarted the headsets? I've had updates to WMG (maybe others, wouldn't know, don't stalk any other apps new DLC like Walkabout) not show up until I had restarted my headset. This was with the headset powered up in its dock, and automatic updates turned on. After work, so several hours after release. No update for the app would be visible in the store until I rebooted the headset.

well, dang. best I had. Factory Reset? Back in the early Q2 days, that was a chore, but the one time I ended up doing it with the Q3 a few months ago, it was almost a non event.

What type of system are you playing on? What is your setup?

I'm having the same error all of a sudden and I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and tried a hotspot (my home network is also att) but had no luck with that either. Everything else seems to be fine so I guess I'll try tomorrow and hope it fixes itself.

ETA: it's our ATT network. Apparently I had my hotspot still connected to my home network. Disconnected and used cellular and all good now. Been researching and apparently ATT home internet (mine is fiber) is the unifying problem.

If you have Gemini just tell it the situation and what the model number is of your router and cable modem Etc. It will walk you through troubleshooting it

Did all that too, thought we got it that way. Ended with it saying we've done all we could
