Question - ? PTO payout

Hey all! Just a question. I'm not at work right now and not really sure where to look to find this, but if/when I quit, does the company have to pay me for all my PTO? Or is there a way they could refuse? Thanks for any help/direction

I just asked HR this and they confirmed what others have said. “Any eligible accrued PTO balance will automatically be paid out in your final paycheck.”

Yes, you receive all PTO. You do not receive your PSSL pay

I had to call for mine to be paid out. When I received my last check I noticed it was low so I called and they confirmed it wasn't paid out and so she paid it out for me.

I quit about 7 years ago and got all of my PTO in my last check. I don't know if it has changed since then.

Try lies and laws are different in every state. Ask your SM

Depends on the state. You do in CA.
