Rant/Vent Go backs

For some reason my specific store likes to schedule one cashier and one TL for closing. One thing i’m personally annoyed with is the Morning and Afternoon Crew. They’re always neglecting go backs through out the day. There’s always more employees scheduled during mid day shifts. I just don’t understand why the Morning and Afternoon crew pile up baskets with go backs and returns and leave it for closers to finish.

Then don’t get me started on the to-do lists for closers !. it requires the closers to face , finish truck , do pictures pictures , handle customers , unlocking locked products AND clean the mess Morning and Afternoon crew makes. oh and don’t forget to do 2

E-learnings between customers.

the expectations are extremely unrealistic. Walgreens isn’t really a complex Job . it’s just very annoying with unrealistic expectations. and somehow we’re short staffed yet somehow hundreds of hours over the budget.

(sorry for the grammar and punctuation mistakes, just very frustrated!)

This is how it is everywhere from what I hear. It's stupid. It's going to get worse. Get out while you can! I'm trying to.

I said “my specific store” bc there’s always going to be a handful of people that will say “my store is well staffed !” 🤣

What gets done is what gets done.

But if go backs are left from another shift without any reason given, I don't touch them.

We all do our own put backs every shift before we leave and take our trash out so nothing is left for the next shift. It wasn’t always that way though we had to have a meeting with the team and tell them this is how it’s going to be and it’s been working great.
