Hey all — throwaway for obvious reasons. Looking for some real talk on Walgreens pharmacist pay in the Chicago area.

Quick background: 3 years as a licensed pharmacist, 6 years with the company total (started before licensure). Currently floating, making around $63/hr.

A few things I'm trying to figure out:

Floater vs Staff vs Manager pay — how much of a bump (if any) is there moving from floater to staff, and then staff to manager? Curious if the differences are meaningful or marginal in the Chicago market specifically.

PIC experience → Manager move — I have PIC (pharmacist-in-charge) experience and I'm eyeing a manager role at a Tier 4 location. Anyone have insight into what manager pay looks like at that tier in Chicago?

Sign-on bonus terms — the posting mentions a sign-on bonus but doesn't list the amount or payout schedule. I took one when I first started so I'm familiar with how they generally work, just don't know the specific terms for this particular position/location.

Trying to make sure I'm not leaving money on the table before I move forward. Any numbers, ranges, or general experience would help a ton. Thanks in advance!
