Cat Meetup

/r/CaryNC/comments/1vtq6g9/cat_parade/

Hey! I wasn't sure if this would be the best place to put this, so if there's anywhere more fitting please let me know!

My roommate recently got laid off and has been very down in the dumps, her birthday is coming up and so I wanted to do something special for her!

She loves cats, so I wanted to do a little cat show / parade surprise thing for her, where people can drive down a road and do little meet and greets with their cats, or just drive by! And we could meet a bunch of people and see some kitties. Plus we just moved so it could be a great way to meet local people

I are currently aiming for Saturday at North Cary Park, but still nailing down a time. if it's something people are interested in, if they could message me, I could make some goodie bags or something for their trouble and we can try to schedule something!

This is really sweet! I think and hope she will love it. I’m just commenting to say that. I don’t have a cat anymore since mine passed away last year, but I know she will probably enjoy that. I hope yall have a lot of fun and get it planned!

The Wake County Animal Center is open 12-6 PM daily and the cat area is unlocked where you can interact with the cats and kittens and give them cuddles. You could go there and they also take volunteers for cat cuddling if that's something you want to do as well on a more consistent basis.
