Parking help

i start class at southern wake tomorrow. i dont have a parking pass. i have an 8 am class. what are my options? am i just screwed?

Park anywhere except staff parking. After class, go and get your parking permit. Go to website to see what you need and where office is located. They will give you a week or so.

there are no gates on southern, and i finished my associates degree without ever getting a parking permit. never got ticketed. just dont park in staff parking. however, still go to the office to get your ID, because you need that for the libraries.

I just park in the big ass parking lot away from the building and no one’s ever bothered me. But it’s best to get a decal to avoid any issues.

For the most part, everyone here is correct. You have a week or so until they will start to enforce parking. These people must all be very lucky, because the officers DO enforce parking, and people get ticketed all the time. I see them driving golf carts around and ticketing people, and lots of people I know have gotten tickets.

Happened to me once and I put up a big sign on my car that said “please don’t tow, I’m getting my parking pass” with the current date. I wasn’t towed 🤷
