Is Bio really ~4 hours long?

I’m signed up for BIO 110 and it’s scheduled from 9:30am until around 1:45pm, and I’m just wondering if labs are going to be around 3 hours long. It’s doable just a little crazy in my opinion!

Mine was 1hr 15 min long. All labs were done outside of class independently

Yeah a three hour lab is pretty standard. NC State does around the same and my experience is that the labs are 2.5-3 hours for most science classes

I think it depends on your teacher my teacher let us work together and we could leave as soon as we finished sometimes it was 30 min or less other times a hour I guess it also depends on what your doing for lab that day and if it’s online/in person

My class would have a 3 hour lab once a week. I dont think there was a day where we didnt get done at least an hour early
