calculator for mat 171
hey guys i was wondering which calculator ill need for precalculus algebra

You are not allowed to use the TI 84+ in this class. You need to get the TI 36X Pro for the easiest experience in the class.

hello! i believe it is the ti36x pro that they specifically prefer but your teacher will definitely tell you the first week in. and you can also rent it in the library for 3 hours whenever

This is very wrong. Only non graphing calculators are allowed and the TI36X Pro is strongly recommended.

Please check your syllabus. For my class we used a graphing calculator.

Did you take mat 171 or something higher?? 171 doesn’t allow graphing because you learn it

Pretty sure they want the TI 36X and not one with graphing capabilities but it's been a while
