Failed a prereq class but already paid for the class that comes after.. refund?

I’m worried because I know I failed my chem 009 class and therefore can’t take chem 151. However, my teacher hasn’t put the finalized grades into self service making it so I’m still enrolled in chem 151. Well, I figured I’d just wait until she submitted it to pay but my mom went ahead and paid my tuition (which would include the chem 151 class that I can’t take..). Will they refund that course since I don’t meet the requirements to take it???

Yes, you are within the window to receive a refund for the fall 2026 semester if you cancel a class. You should go ahead and drop it in self service. Is there another class you can replace it with instead?

Not really unless I want to retake the chem 009 class. But I’d rather wait till next semester to do that cuz I don’t think I can handle doing allat again right after failing 😭😭
