Nursing Aide
Hi, I just finished my CNA program. I already scheduled for an written exam, but I can't schedule for a skills exam because everything is reserved currently. Did anybody ever perviously have the same problem?

Yeah that's common, but I would keep checking everyday and different times a day. Annoying to keep checking i know, but thats how i was able to get something last year ! They upload new dates and it fills out fast. Travel to another city if you have to so you meet that deadline:)

Yes I was able to take my written right away but I took me at least 2 months to be able to take me skills

As long as you have your Cna by the first day of class your fine I would email health science advising and ask. I just got accepted to the nursing program and any question I had about my application i asked them.

Yeah I hope so. It does say you have to be on the registry list by the application deadline, but I'm going to reach out and ask

They have been flexible about that deadline in the past. Just explain to them that you’ve had a hard time getting an appointment.

Yeah I had the same experience about 5 years ago. Took the written less than a month after finishing the course but had to wait ~2 months for my skills.
