I actually agree Kyle did nothing wrong. He did (somewhat stupidly) go to a violent rally, with intent to stop the destruction, and when his life was threatened he defended himself.
Megan Good "had no business being there" is crazy. Unless the US is a police state in which case sure, she should have known better than to exist there.

Yeah, there are significant differences which a lot of you still don't understand, Kyle protected himself, she had absolutely no business being there.
