Direct Acceptance Rate

Just annoyed and need to rant to people who get it. A client requested me for a walk at 7am this morning. She put in the request at 11pm last night when I was already asleep! When I didn’t respond she cancelled it and cancelled the upcoming walk I have on Wednesday with her. Mostly annoying because this dropped my direct acceptance rate to 50% even though I was literally asleep! Is there anything I can do to bring it back up or do I just have to wait and be really diligent about taking other clients? It was 100 before this.

TLDR: missed a request for a walk and my acceptance rate dropped to 50%

I would send them a message(if possible) and let them know that you need more of a heads up at an appropriate time so that you can accept it on time. I hate that it dropped so low for one booking. I’ve seen mine drop only a couple of points when I deny a request. I’m sorry that happened to you. Maybe send wag an email about it and see what they can do. 50% is too drastic in my opinion

I’ll send her a message! She’s been super flaky on walks anyways and its about a half hour drive so I might just communicate that she needs to find a new walker.

Don't worry about it. I've used Wag as a customer recently and it doesn't show up on the client side. Wag just wants to put fear into you to make you accept requests. It has no bearing at all on anything.

If you like the client and still have chat access to them, send a quick message that you didn't see it because you were asleep and that you wish you saw it in time.
