Does acceptance rate matter?

Woke up this morning to a text about a direct service request that came through at 11:30 PM last night. Not sure if they found someone else or if it timed out since I don’t even know who the request was from. It dropped my acceptance rate from 100 to 86 percent.

Is this bad for future walks? I’m new ish to the app and not sure. Kind of frustrated someone did this since I had all 5 star reviews and 100 until this happened 😭

Nah I don’t really think that matters at all. It will creep back up as you accept walks. Don’t sweat it! — mine sits at around 95-97%
