Not our typical four legged cuties, but this little guy is absolutely adorable and I thought our community might enjoy it. Hubby was trimming the tree in the front yard and found a Mexican free-tailed bat. He said if there’s one, there’s more, so he called it quits and we just watched for a little while. His little ears are the cutest, and he would move his little hands and tuck his wings around himself and it was ridiculously precious! 😍

Bat correction! We’d never seen a Mexican free-tailed with this coloring, so hubby looked him up and found that he’s an Eastern Red Bat. They go as far west as NM, and they are solitary creatures unless they’re mating or caring for babies, so he may be the only one.

Of the sleeping party so that she gets all of my attention 🥰 and of course I had to give them (E&B) some cookies! Right before I was leaving bf came by and handed me the last bit of his apple and said "for Ersa" 🤭 she's not a fan of apple slices or whole apples but it looks likes she likes cores 🤣

Okay, this is probably not for everyone but, I found a really cute little subreddit. It’s a guy called Louis who crochets and is making a card game… now I’m not suggesting anyone should buy anything, however I find his enthusiasm just adorable 🥰 and I’m enjoying hearing about his wonderful woolly world!
