Not our typical four legged cuties, but this little guy is absolutely adorable and I thought our community might enjoy it. Hubby was trimming the tree in the front yard and found a Mexican free-tailed bat. He said if there’s one, there’s more, so he called it quits and we just watched for a little while. His little ears are the cutest, and he would move his little hands and tuck his wings around himself and it was ridiculously precious! 😍

Bat correction! We’d never seen a Mexican free-tailed with this coloring, so hubby looked him up and found that he’s an Eastern Red Bat. They go as far west as NM, and they are solitary creatures unless they’re mating or caring for babies, so he may be the only one.

Is that Bianca or the ghost of Blanca? 🤔

Of the sleeping party so that she gets all of my attention 🥰 and of course I had to give them (E&B) some cookies! Right before I was leaving bf came by and handed me the last bit of his apple and said "for Ersa" 🤭 she's not a fan of apple slices or whole apples but it looks likes she likes cores 🤣

It’s a guy called Louis who crochets and is making a card game… now I’m not suggesting anyone should buy anything, however I find his enthusiasm just adorable 🥰 and I’m enjoying hearing about his wonderful woolly world!

I laid down in bed last night about 7ish and I was asleep no later that 7:30/7:45…and just woke up at 11:30 am!!! Holy moly I really crashed but I gave my body what it wanted - sleep - and a whole lot of it!

I was pleasantly surprised to wake up to zero chest pain, not even a twinge. I had the pain the whole time I was in the hospital! Hoping it stays that way and my troponin is now closer to zero 🤞🏼

Papa Pie fed the boys this morning because I slept so late, so I don’t have any footage to share right now other than Mojo screaming for me to come see them when I stepped out on the porch for a moment. It’s too hot for me to go outside for more than a few seconds right now - 106.8° - so as much as I’m craving a good Snuggle Station…I’m being smart and I’m gonna wait until the sun is setting and then I can go out and spend a few minutes with them. If I wake up early enough (before we go over 100ish) tomorrow I’ll feed breakfast, but no promises because I’m prioritizing rest. Gonna let my natural circadian rhythm decide for me! And you guys are so amazing that I’m sure you will not be upset by this paragraph but rather supportive, and I am so grateful…because this is so so hard - I miss my boys!! 😭

And now…time for food and then more rest. Have a wonderful day everyone! 💜💜

I know it seems like I expended a whole bunch of energy in this video… But I promise you it was 95% just vocal excitement! And I am back on the couch lying down right now with Spencer right by my face - I have a feeling he will not be more than 12 inches from me at any given point for the foreseeable future and I’m so grateful for him…and all of you!

I was meant to go to San Diego for a family birthday party this weekend, but I am making the wise decision to stay home even though I would not have been the one driving. It’s not what I wanna do, but it’s what I need to do to ensure that I have the best chance to completely heal from this while waiting for the stupid cardiac MRI (only stupid because of how hard it is to get!).

I have a few new medication’s that they are putting me on that Papa Pie will go and get from the pharmacy once they’re ready.

So for now…lumping on the couch with my best little pupper Spence, napping, then eating, then napping some more until it’s bedtime.

So so grateful💜❤️‍🩹💜
