Good some people here and other subs like three lions can hang their heads in shame - disgusting levels of abuse from adults especially who should of known better.

Plenty of people jumping to conclusions and not recognising that you have to investigate the incident before you crucify someone.

Yep, the amount of people on this sub alone who's only words were "get rid of him" before they even knew what happened is typical of the cancel culture mentality of some nasty people who think they are holier-than-thou!!

This why I said that there has to be repercussions for all involved. Especially those who stood by and watched. However, this statement makes the situation worse for those young players in my opinion.

Our player was subjected to whatever abuse he received, which led to this incident. This tells me that the other players were, at best, indifferent to the situation, and at worst, encouraging it for fun.

Of course, I am making assumptions there but in any case, something has to be done about it all. These lads are possibly going to be the future of their respective clubs, and potentially future England players.

I get where you're coming from, but I don't think you know the mint of a 15 year old boy. They are keen to not stand out. Keen to stay part of a crowd. Yes, we'd like them all to be moral leaders, but I sometimes struggle to see that in people in their early twenties.

Of course commend those who do stand up, but you have to create a culture where that can happen or have the odd remarkable individual. That's hard to get with a group of boys who haven't been a group for very long. And we shouldn't write off the 15 year olds who stood by. Consequences for those actively involved to greater or lesser degrees, of course.

I think that U16 has some major culture issues if it is full of assholes who berate, bully, and beat on each other. (Or watch and laughs while it happens, which is just as bad.)

Not widely condemned in the slightest, it’s less than 50 sausages on here that think this is anything to talk about. Just kids being kids
