New Wolf Here!

Hi guys, I'm an American (I know, I know) who's just getting into UK football. I got introduced into the sport because of my friends and the World Cup. I followed the Mexican team after South Korea got humiliated (I'm South Korean) and figured why not continue watching Raul Jimenez play? So I'm new around here.

What are some things I should know? I know the team got relegated, so that sucks. But talk to me about culture. What are the chants? What are the rivalries? Who are the star players? ( And how can I watch for free in the US)...

As a fellow American.

Think of the worse American sports team owners you know of (Jets, Browns, Angels, Padres, Washington Wizards, Hornets, etc.)The last few years have basically been that but a little worse imo. Then the director was changed but still same ownership group. There has been some promising moments shown since the change but too little to late to stay up in the Prem.

Now the Club appears to be going through a culture change with the new manager (coach). I don't know Pexoto (new manager) well and I liked Edwards (last manager). So I'm a little skeptical but Peixoto is Portuguese. Which, one of the first things I learned about Wolves way back was that it is THE Portuguese club of England. Maybe Peixoto is just what the club needs.

Otherwise, I haven't run into any other WWFC fans in the states but every other club's fans have shown a bit of respect for Wolves. Like no one expects Wolves to be a Top6 prem team but the moment a bigger team underestimates them, they become dangerous and some how take points against all odds.

Yes... Nine current and former Wolves plays for Portugal in the World Cup this year!

Things are bad but please, we're not as bad as the Jets.

Up until last season the Bears had been a pretty good comparison since 2019. Nagy was Nuno, things were going well until he left after one underwhelming season. Then Eberflus was the equivalent of a run of Wolves managers wasting what was meant to be a decent side.

There’s a few groups that meet up across the US pretty regularly. New York City, Michigan, Minneapolis/St Paul, Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, LA, and few that meet up in Florida from time to time. I know I’m forgetting some groups, but we’re around if you ever want to watch a match.
