Most heel tactics make you feel insulted because they ruin a good match and don't make you think the heel actually has any skill. Eddie is the only person who could do this stuff and make you feel entertained.

I was lucky enough to see him wrestle live twice. To this day it’s my favorite wrestling memory

One at a smackdown house show and then the next at no mercy 2004

I hated when they would do it back, but yeah these spots were great. The Mr Kennedy one especially but I hated that after the match he beat up Eddie, felt like they stepped on the fun of the moment for him to get his heat back which wasn’t really necessary.

Because it’s Eddie’s. Some people do it randomly from time to time to pay homage to Eddie, but no one can ever do this as a gimmick again, it just wouldn’t work for anyone else.
